Your Kishore Dham Yatra warmly welcomes the entrance of the four dhams of Uttarakhand in Haridwar. After the morning pickup by Time Traveller India, you will start a beautiful drive towards Guptkashi, a beautiful city on the route to Kedarnath. This drive is long but spiritually uplifting, as you pass through the holy river confluences such as Devprayag (where Alakananda and Bhagirathi rivers meet the Ganges) and Rudraprayag (where Alakananda meets the Mandakini). These sites are revered for their religious importance and natural beauty.
Arrive at Guptkashi by evening and check at a comfortable hotel pre-stated by Time Traveller India. After some comfort, you can choose to visit the Ardhnarishwar temple, a unique pilgrimage where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are worshiped as a joint form. This brief journey sets tone for the days of spiritual immersion.
The second day is dedicated to the holy pilgrimage site of Kedarnath, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Start your day with a drive from Guptakashi to Garikund, from the base point for the Kedarnath trek. Here, you have the option to select a 16 km route or option for a helicopter ride, which is arranged at your request by Time Traveller India. The trek is standing, but rewarded, which is filled with breathtaking scenes of snow-worn peaks and echoing with the mantras of pilgrims.On reaching Kedarnath, visit the holy temple located at an altitude of 3,583 meters. A pilgrimage site set against the backdrop of the royal Himalayas exposes immense reverence. Perform philosophy and participate in temple rituals, feel spiritually high in the divine presence of Lord Shiva. If there is trekking, it is advisable to keep your speed stable and often hydrate.After completing your spiritual rituals, check in a guesthouse or government camp near the temple. Your driver must have been waiting on the base to take you to the next Dham at Badrinath, which is a holy temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.The journey from Gaurikund to Badrinath passes through towns like Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Joshimath, each of which has its own spiritual and mythological significance. After a day of beautiful driving through the succulent valleys and curved mountain roads, we reached Badrinath by evening. Check and refresh at the hotel.Later, visit the Badrinath Temple, which is one of the most important Vishnu temples in India and part of both Char Dham and Kishore Dham Yatra. A hot waterfall near the temple, which is considered to purify the soul, take a dip in a warm waterfall. Witness to the evening aarti, which is a mesmerizing ritual with mantras, lamps and incense that fills the wind with divine energy.
Start the day with an early darshan at the Badrinath temple. After breakfast, check out and move towards the third dham in Gangotri, the holy river Ganges and this holy journey. This is a long and picturesque drive, and you will pass through Joshimath, Chamoli, and Uttarkashi, which is a spiritually important city on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
Gangotri, situated at an altitude of 3,100 meters, is one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Goddess Ganga. According to legend, it is here that the river landed on earth after Lord Shiva, when it was released from its locks. The atmosphere is quiet, which has slopes covered by peaks and pine.On reaching Uttarkashi by evening, check into your hotel for rest overnight. Depending on your arrival time and energy level, you can visit local temples such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a major Shiva temple in the region.
Get up early for a divine journey to the Gangotri Temple, located among the breathtaking natural scenes. Pray in the temple and take a holy dip in the icy cold water of the Bhagirathi river, which is considered holy and pure.
