Your journey begins in the morning because Traveller India picks you up from your hotel or airport in Delhi. One of the finest highways in India, enjoy a beautiful 3.5–4 hour drive on the Yamuna Expressway, leading you to Agra. On arrival, your first stop is the royal Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its huge red sandstone walls, the courtyard of the palace, the Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, and the Musman Burj, from where Shahjan once saw the Taj Mahal during his last day.
Next, enjoy lunch at a local Agra restaurant, where you can take a sample of authentic Mughali dishes. After lunch, check at your hotel for some rest. In the late afternoon, visit Seren Mehtab Bagh located across the Yamuna River, offering stunning sunset views of the Taj Mahal. Away from the crowd, this peaceful garden gives you its first emotional encounter with the symbol of the world's greatest love.
Spend your evening either at leisure in your hotel or take an optional walk through Agra’s old markets to explore handicrafts, marble inlay art, and local street food. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
