Tour Itinerary

You begin your Golden Triangle tour with Rajasthan, when you arrive in Delhi, India's capital city. A Time Traveller in India representative will pick you up from the airport or railway station and take you to your hotel. The day is free at leisure. You may take a walk in Connaught Place, eat some street food, or just relax at the hotel if you want to. Delhi is a city where ancient monuments and modern buildings are side by side.

Following breakfast, you will embark on a day-out excursion of Delhi. Early morning, you will visit Old Delhi and marvel at the imposing Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Close to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, is situated. Enjoy a thrilling rickshaw ride through the crowded narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, an ancient market square which is famous for local snacks and souvenir shopping.

Later, visit Raj Ghat, a simple but powerful memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Then head to New Delhi, where you’ll see wide roads, greenery, and colonial-style buildings. Visit Qutub Minar, a tall tower made of red sandstone, and Humayun’s Tomb, a beautiful garden tomb that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Drive past the India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhawan before returning to your hotel for the night.

Breakfast, followed by check-out from the hotel and a drive to Agra, the city of the grand Taj Mahal. It is a 4-hour drive. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and rest for a few hours. In the evening, go and see the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Shah Jahan the Emperor built the white marble building in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The love and beauty of Taj Mahal are renowned throughout the world.

Later, tour Agra Fort, a fort of red sandstone that possesses large halls, palaces, and gardens. You can even see the Taj Mahal from the fort. At sunset time, you have liberty to see the Taj in Mehtab Bagh or can go for shopping marble goods and handicrafts.

After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur, the Pink City of India. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar. Though abandoned due to the shortage of water, there are several beautiful buildings like Jagat Giriraj Temple, Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Panch Mahal.

Resume your journey to Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Jaipur is renowned for street hues, dense culture, and imperial history. You have an option of taking a rest break or relaxing at local markets during the evening hours.

Start your day by visiting Amber Fort, which is located on a hill. You can go up by jeep or even on an elephant. Inside the fort, visit the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), royal courtyards, and ancient paintings. Then visit the City Palace, a beautiful palace with museums and courtyards.

Ancient astronomical observatory Jantar Mantar with old instruments used for star and planet observation is just nearby. See the iconic Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, built in such a way that queen ladies could see street celebrations without being noticed themselves. Have your evening by spending it enjoying a cultural evening and dinner at Chokhi Dhani, a resort-village in which they arrange folk dances, music, and Rajasthani food.

Go for a drive to Jodhpur, which is also known as the Blue City as most of the houses there are painted blue. The travel would be around 6 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for a while. At night, go to the local market near Clock Tower, where you can buy spices, handicrafts, and Rajasthani traditional goods.

You begin your day with a visit to the huge Mehrangarh Fort, the largest fort of India. It sits on top of a rock hill and gives one stunning views of the blue city below. Inside the fort, there are museums that contain antique weapons, clothing, and paintings.

Then, go to Jaswant Thada, a white marble mausoleum constructed in honor of a Rajput king. After that, go to Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is still partially utilized as a royal palace. Or else, you can go on a safari excursion to the nearby Bishnoi villages for an experience of village life.

On breakfast, move towards Udaipur, commonly known as the City of Lakes. During the journey, stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temples, renowned for their beautiful marble work and 1444 beautiful pillars.

After your arrival in Udaipur, get checked into the hotel. Spend the evening at the banks of Lake Pichola, watching the sunset and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Udaipur is also known as the most romantic city of India, and you will understand why soon enough.

Start your sightseeing by visiting the imposing City Palace, which has breathtaking views of the lake and city. This is followed by visiting Jagdish Temple, renowned for its carvings. Next, take a boat ride in Lake Pichola, gliding past Jag Mandir and the beautiful Lake Palace, now a luxury hotel.

Also visit Saheliyon ki Bari, a pretty garden built for the royal court ladies, and Fateh Sagar Lake to unwind and destress or to take a swift boat ride. In the evening, attend a cultural dance and music show at Bagore Ki Haveli.

Today your romantic tour ends. You will be dropped at Railway Station or Udaipur Airport after breakfast to proceed further on your own. If desired, you can also come back to Delhi by flight or train. You would have memories of forts, palaces, history of kings and queens, and Rajasthan's hospitality in your mind.
