Your cultural tour of Rajasthan begins with your arrival in Bharatpur, a town well-known for its Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary – a World Heritage Site. Our representative receives you at the nearest railway station or airport and facilitates check-in to hotel.
In the afternoon, go to the Keoladeo National Park, with more than 370 species of birds. Ride a rickshaw through the forest and observe the peacefulness of nature. It is bird watcher's and nature lover's paradise, particularly during winter when Siberian cranes, along with other migratory birds, make their way.
In the evening, watch a traditional Rajasthani folk music performance at your hotel. It's the best way to acquaint yourself with the country's rich musical heritage.
Overnight at Bharatpur.
Proceed with breakfast and then visit the history of Bharatpur in sightseeing. Have a glance at the Lohagarh Fort, which once was impregnable though tried numerous times on. The great walls and giant gates stand witness to the valorous history of Bharatpur.
Later, drive to Karauli, a less visited but exquisite jewel famous for its temples and serene atmosphere. Arrive there in the night and overnight at a picturesque heritage hotel or a palace-converted-hotel.
In the night, explore the old bazaars of Karauli, where one can witness individuals involved in their daily chores, craftsmen working their hardest, and vibrant shops selling bangles, spices, and roadside snacks.
Overnight stay at Karauli.
Begin the day by visiting the Kaila Devi Temple, a significant pilgrimage destination in the area. The temple is a religious and cultural center, particularly during the Kaila Devi fair.
Then, proceed to the City Palace of Karauli, a beautiful example of architecture with good frescoes and fine mirror work. Because Karauli is not very commercialized, the palace presents a raw and authentic glimpse into the royal heritage.
Don't miss an opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their customs, and savor some homemade sweets from Karauli.
Overnight stay at Karauli.
Depart after breakfast for Barmer, deep into western Rajasthan on the borders of the Thar Desert. Barmer is famous for folk art handicrafts, wood crafts, and its vibrant folk music heritage.
Check into a basic desert-style hotel upon arrival. Barmer might not have majestic palaces, but it has its own charm in its villages, village arts, and the simplicity of rural life.
Evening trip to a nearby village to see folk music performances and traditional Manganiyar singing – an experience that gives a shiver in one's spine with its spine-chilling music.
Night halt at Barmer.
This day is spent observing the unobserved of Barmer. Begin the day by visiting the Barmer Fort and the Kiradu Temples, renowned for their intricate stone carvings and serene atmosphere.
Then, go to handicraft villages where you see artisans creating embroidered fabric, wood products, ceramics, and Ajrak prints. You may buy directly from artisans, supplementing the local family's income.
Lastly, go to Mahabar Sand Dunes at sunset for a magical desert view and camel cart ride.
Barmer overnight stay.
Leave Barmer and move towards Nagaur, a town with one of the most stunning and remote forts in Rajasthan – Nagaur Fort. The town is also famous for hosting one of India's largest cattle fairs every year.
Arrive in Nagaur and check-in at the hotel. Take rest and then move on to Nagaur Fort, with its colossal red sandstone walls, grand palaces, temples, and gardens. It has been restored recently and is a good specimen of Rajput-Mughal architecture.
In the evening, go for a quiet walk in the local bazaar where you can relish Nagauri peda and buy local handicrafts.
Night halt at Nagaur.
After breakfast, head towards Pali, a town known for its stepwells, temples, and peaceful vibe. On the way, you’ll pass through beautiful countryside landscapes dotted with mustard fields and rural homes.
Once in Pali, check into a heritage haveli and enjoy a home-cooked lunch. Visit the Somnath Temple, Navlakha Temple, and Bangur Museum, which showcase the local history and culture.
Pali also boasts its brightly colored Bandhej (tie-dye) fabrics. If you want, you can go to a dyeing unit to observe how these colorful clothes are made.

Spend the day discovering rural Pali. Visit a nearby Bishnoi Village and observe their eco-friendly way of life, spot deer grazing freely, and observe how much these villagers enjoy living amidst nature and culture.
In the later part of the day, explore Jawai Dam, where you may perhaps catch a glimpse of wild crocodiles and leopards. This unusual wildlife destination is growing popular day by day for its scenery and wildlife.
Evening: Spend your evening by exploring a Rajasthani cultural evening at your haveli, with folk music, traditional puppet show, and a delicious local thali dinner.

Junagarh Fort Afternoon Tour
Unlike all other Rajasthan forts built upon a hilltop, this fort is not atop a hill. But because of its great architecture, palaces, courtyards, and museums, it's a complete must-visit place.
Later, stroll through the old streets of Bikaner, explore Laxmi Niwas Palace, and shop at the crowded Kote Gate Market for local treats such as Bikaneri bhujia and sweets such as rasgulla.
Overnight in Bikaner.
Begin the day with a visit to the quirky Karni Mata Temple or Rat Temple. It is an off-beat but interesting place where rats are said to be sacred animals.
Finally, you can pay a visit to the National Research Centre on Camels and acquaint yourself with various camel breeds as well as get to taste camel milk ice cream!
Depending upon your pick up time, you will be dropped at Bikaner Railway Station or Airport with memories of having experienced a fully cultural and original Rajasthani experience.
