Inside the complex lies splendidly decorated interior, palaces, temples, and museums. (Optional) If you dare, visit the Karni Mata Temple, popularly known as the Rat Temple, where thousands of revered rats roam freely. Revered rats, no less, and considered so by locals because they are thought to be reincarnated souls of the ancestors of devotees. After sightseeing, drive to Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City because of its yellow sandstone buildings that shine in the sunlight. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax after the day's journey. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Spend time to spend quiet hours by Gadisar Lake, which was a tank for water conservation in the past but now a peaceful site dotted with cenotaphs and temples.
During the evening, move on to the interesting Sam Sand Dunes, around 40 km from the city. Experience a night camel ride across the rolling dunes, watch the amazing sunset, and in the evening, relax overnight with a folk dance session, cultural music, and dinner at the desert camp.
