Reach Kempegowda International Airport or Bengaluru Railway Station. Get picked up by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Freshen up and start the city sightseeing.

 

Go to the Bull Temple (Dodda Basavana Gudi) – a very old temple that is dedicated to Nandi. Then go to ISKCON Temple, famous for its contemporary architecture and spiritual atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple, a rock-cut cave temple with astronomical importance.

 

Evening: Explore the local market nearby and taste local Karnataka cuisine.

 

Overnight in Bengaluru.

 

 

Post-breakfast, check out and drive to Kukke Subramanya, which is at the base of the Western Ghats. It is a temple for Lord Subramanya, the snake god.

 

Reach Kukke in the late evening and spend the night in a hotel. Relax for some time and later go to the Subramanya Temple to view the peaceful rituals and the midnight aarti.

 

Optional: Take a view of the Sarpa Samskara or Ashlesha Bali rituals (need to book in advance).

After breakfast, proceed to Dharmasthala, a pilgrimage center. Visit darshan of the Sri Manjunatha Temple, Lord Shiva temple, and see the 39-foot monolithic figure of Lord Bahubali near it.

 

Visit darshan and lunch at annadanam hall of the temple, then proceed to Udupi, Lord Krishna's birthplace.

 

On arrival, check into the hotel and in the evening visit the 13th-century temple of Udupi Sri Krishna Matha, its stunning window darshan of Lord Krishna.

 

Overnight at Udupi.

 

 

Begin your day with a South Indian breakfast and proceed to Murudeshwar, the site of the second-tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the world.

 

Visit the great Murudeshwar Temple, located atop a hillock, and visit the Arabian Sea. Go up to the temple tower to have a lifetime experience in the sight.

 

Reach Gokarna, a town on the sea, by afternoon. Visit the Mahabaleshwar Temple in the evening, which contains Lord Shiva's Atmalinga.

 

Evening: Take it easy on Om Beach, an Om-shaped beach.

After breakfast, visit Sirsi, a small village renowned for temples and nature's beauty.

 

Stop at Yana Rocks and Caves on the way, well known for its black limestone formations and cave temple of Lord Shiva.

 

Attend Marikamba Temple at Sirsi, a temple devoted to Goddess Durga in her terrifying form. It is one of the largest and most popular temples of Karnataka.

Leave early morning for Hampi, World Heritage Site and ancient capital of great Vijayanagara Empire.

 

On arrival, check-in and relax. In the evening, walk along the serene banks of Tungabhadra River, observing remnants of temples, ghats, and carvings.

After breakfast, experience the temple miracles of Hampi.

 

Start with Virupaksha Temple, a Shiva temple and one of the very few working temples in old city. Visit the Vittala Temple, famous for the Stone Chariot and musical pillars. Move to Hazara Rama Temple with lovely Ramayana panels and Achyutaraya Temple.

 

Evening: Sunset at Hemakuta Hill over temple and boulder ruins.

 

Overnight at Hampi.

 

 

Breakfast and leave for Badami, a town renowned for rock-cut cave temples.

 

Visit the Badami Cave Temples, excavated on the cliff faces overlooking the Agastya Lake. These temples are embedded with exquisite carvings of Hindu deities like Shiva, Vishnu, and Jain Tirthankaras.

 

Visit Bhutanatha Temples, located on the lake's periphery, reflected on water in divine serenity.

 

Night stay at Badami.

 

 

Breakfast, then a day-long temple tour.

 

Start with Pattadakal, a World Heritage site with a beautiful blend of South and North Indian temple architecture. Important temples are Virupaksha Temple, Sangameshwara Temple, and Mallikarjuna Temple.

 

Move on to Aihole, birthplace of temple architecture of India, and visit temples like Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, and Ravana Phadi Cave Temple.

 

Evening: Back to Badami for overnight stay.
