Tour Itinerary

Your wild tour of Rajasthan begins at Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, our representative will receive you and take you to your hotel. After the formalities at the hotel, take some rest for a while.

In the evening, go for a short city tour to experience the Rajasthani ambiance. Go for a City Palace tour, explore the royal architecture, and visit Jantar Mantar – a World Heritage Site. A photo stop at Hawa Mahal and walking around the local bazaars will be a colorful evening.

Breakfast followed by visit to Ranthambore National Park, India's best-known tiger sanctuary. Situated in the Vindhya and Aravalli ranges, Ranthambore is home to tigers, leopards, marsh crocodiles, sloth bears, hyenas, and more than 300 bird species.

Check into your jungle resort or lodge and have a peaceful afternoon in the outdoors. In the evening, enjoy a guided nature walk or simply unwind.

Dinner and overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Set out early for your morning jungle safari in an open gypsy or canter. With the dawn breaking, the forest erupts into sounds of animals and birdsong. With a bit of luck, you might get to spot the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild. Even if you don't, the untamed splendor of the park, ancient ruins, and diversity of wildlife are thrilling in themselves.

Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure time or visit the Ranthambore Fort, which offers panoramic views of the park.

In the evening, go for another evening safari to a different part of the park.

Overnight at Ranthambore.

Following breakfast, drive to Keoladeo Ghana National Park in Bharatpur – a leading bird sanctuary in Asia and a World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO.

Check into your hotel and take it easy. In the afternoon, go to the sanctuary. You can walk or take a rickshaw ride within this peaceful park, where you could see thousands of resident and migratory birds, some of them being painted storks, pelicans, cranes, egrets, kingfishers, and even the Siberian cranes (seasonal).

Overnight at Bharatpur.

After a pleasant morning walk along the bird park and breakfast, depart for Sariska Tiger Reserve in Alwar district. Although Sariska is famous for the tigers, there are leopards, wild boars, hyenas, jungle cats, and several others inhabiting the same.

Enjoy some quiet time within nature on arrival at your forest resort. In the evening, go for a brief wildlife trip or village walk around the forest buffer zone.

Overnight stay at Sariska.

Early morning wake-up call for a thrilling jungle safari within the Sariska reserve. Be wary of movement in the trees, look out for pugmarks, and enjoy the rough beauty of the semi-deciduous forest of Rajasthan.

After lunch and rest, drive or take train/flight to Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan. On arrival, check-into your hotel and unwind.

Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Today will be a mix of culture and wildlife. Morning visit to discover Mehrangarh Fort standing above the blue-washed Jodhpur houses. And visit the beautiful Jaswant Thada and stroll around the Sardar Market.

Afternoon, drive for Bishnoi Village Safari. The people of the villages of Bishnoi are well known for their love for animals and nature. Blackbucks, chinkaras (Indian gazelles) and various birds can be observed in these eco-friendly, conventional villages.

Return for dinner and overnight stay at Jodhpur.

After breakfast, travel to Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station. Unlike the desert terrain you’ve seen so far, Mount Abu is lush and green, nestled in the Aravalli Hills.

On arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening. Visit Nakki Lake for a scenic boat ride and see the Sunset Point for breathtaking views.

Overnight stay at Mount Abu.

Mount Abu is renowned not only for its appearance but also for the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary covering over 300 sq. km. Breakfast done, go for a walk or safari in the sanctuary that provides shelter to wildlife like leopards, sambar deer, jungle cats, and a variety of bird and plant species.

Later, drive to the world-famous Dilwara Jain Temples, known for their beautiful marble craftsmanship, and then spend some time in the bazaars.

Overnight at Mount Abu.

This is the final day of your Rajasthan Wildlife Tour. After breakfast, drive to Udaipur – the City of Lakes – where your tour concludes. If time allows, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola or just relax by the lakeside before driving to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
