Your Golden Triangle Tour starts when you arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India. We will receive you at the airport/railway station and take care of your hotel transfer. After checking in and brief relaxation, venture out for an exciting day of New Delhi and Old Delhi local sightseeing.
Begin your tour at India Gate, the 42-meter-tall war memorial constructed to honor Indian soldiers. Drive by Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House, two British colonial buildings that are feats of engineering.
Then proceed to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world constructed in the 12th century. Then see Humayun's Tomb, a beautiful reflection of Mughal architecture which inspired the construction of the Taj Mahal.
Later, go to the Lotus Temple, a Bahá'í House of Worship that is famous for its lotus-like shape and serene environment. Go to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, to pay homage to the Father of the Nation.
Afternoon, go for your tour of Jama Masjid, India's one of the largest mosques, and then Chandni Chowk rickshaw ride, the oldest market place in Delhi and renowned for madness, charm, and street food.
Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Delhi.
Post breakfast at your hotel, checkout and drive to Agra, city of love and home to one of the world's most iconic monuments—the Taj Mahal. The Yamuna Expressway drive is smooth and picturesque.
Upon reaching Agra, check-in to your hotel and freshen up. Your Agra tour begins with a visit to the Agra Fort, a gigantic red sandstone fort on the banks of the Yamuna River. Explore structures like Jahangir Palace, Khas Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, and Diwan-i-Aam that reflect the glory of the Mughal era.
Then go to the Taj Mahal, the symbol of endless love and the sweet dedication of Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. See the beautiful marble work on the monument and bask in the peacefulness while the sun sets at the rear of this megastructure.
Evening, and optionally, visit the Mehtab Bagh to experience the Taj in the peaceful evening light of the river front or the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also called the 'Baby Taj' for its beautiful marble inlay work.
Back to your hotel in Agra for dinner and overnight stay.
Following a full breakfast, checkout and drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and affectionately known as the Pink City. Break during the journey at Fatehpur Sikri, a forgotten Mughal capital city established by Emperor Akbar.
Visit the Buland Darwaza (Gate of Magnificence), Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, and Tomb of Salim Chishti. The red sandstone buildings of this UNESCO World Heritage Site reveal stories of imperial fancy and religious coexistence.
Proceed to Jaipur. On arrival, check-in hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, you can visit Chokhi Dhani, a resort of Rajasthani cultural village with folk dance and music show, puppet show, and traditional Rajasthani dinner (optional but a must-visit).
Had a cozy overnight stay in Jaipur.
Start your day with a hotel breakfast and depart for a day of Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to the grand Amber Fort. Sitting atop a hill, the fort is an exquisite combination of Hindu and Mughal styles. Ride up to the top in a jeep or an elephant and view the key sights such as Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol, and Diwan-i-Aam.
During the way back to the city, stop by Jal Mahal, the Water Palace in the center of Man Sagar Lake, and take some gorgeous photos with the scenery background.
Later, go to the beautiful City Palace, an ensemble of gardens, courtyards, and buildings of which part is the palace of royalty. The museum within contains royal attire, weapons, and relics.
Just a short distance from the City Palace is the Jantar Mantar, an observatory which boasts the largest stone sundial in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), constructed of red and pink sandstone, through which the royal women would look at the street without being detected. The honeycomb facade is a highly photographed building in Jaipur.
If time allows, visit the vibrant Bapu Bazaar or Johari Bazaar to shop for Rajasthani crafts, fabrics, jewelry, and souvenirs.
Back in Delhi by late afternoon. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Delhi—airport, railway station, or hotel—ending your 4-day Golden Triangle Tour with a full experience.
