Your tour to Rajasthan begins on arrival at Jaipur, the state capital of Rajasthan and the city fondly called the Pink City. Your representative from Time Traveller India will greet you and get you checked into a hotel.

Rest for a little while, and then start your city tour by visiting the City Palace, an awe-inspiring building that blends both Mughal and Rajasthani style. The palace complex has museums, beautiful courtyards, and the famous Chandra Mahal.

Then proceed to Jantar Mantar, a World Heritage Site, renowned for its ancient astronomical instruments. Don't miss a photo stop at the stunning Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), which features 953 small windows from where royal ladies could look out at street life without themselves being observed.

In the afternoon, stroll along the colorful bazaars of Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar, where one can shop for local handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles. Overstay at your hotel in Jaipur.

Morning begins with a visit to the stunning forts of Jaipur for the day. You go to the first fort which is Amber Fort, located on a hill and famous for its beautiful architecture and work with mirrors. You either get to ride on royal elephant or jeep until the entrance of the fort.

Walk through the royal suites, courtyards, and the famous Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) of the fort. Then, visit Jaigarh Fort, which has the largest wheeled cannon in the world. The sunset view from the top is simply stunning.

Then, visit Nahargarh Fort, which was initially a city wall for defense. The fort has stunning views of Jaipur during sunset as well.

This Sufi saint dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti attracts people of all faiths. The peaceful surroundings and sacred beauty of the dargah make it an experience out of this world.

Drive for 30 minutes from Ajmer to Pushkar, one of the oldest Indian cities. Pushkar is renowned for the Brahma Temple, the sole temple in the world devoted to Lord Brahma. Stroll around peaceful Pushkar Lake, and take a visit to the ghats for an evening ceremony.

Pushkar's vibrant bazaars abound with souvenirs in the form of handicrafts, silver jewelry, and ethnic wear. Overnight in Pushkar or Ajmer, after an honest day.
