Tour Itinerary

 

Your tour to Jaipur and Ranthambore begins upon arrival of students at Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital. Upon arrival, the education tour package to Jaipur & Ranthambore will be greeted by a tour guide and escorted to the hotel. Students will have some time to relax and recharge after checking in before continuing with their exploration of Jaipur.

 

There is a half-day tour of the City in the afternoon that starts with the palace tour, an ancient complex palace constructed in a mixture of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The students have a planned tour of the palace museum wherein they have royal collection, miniature paintings, and a display of ancient objects.

 

Finally, the students will visit the Jantar Mantar observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The complex is a line of gigantic astronomical instruments, including the Samrat Yantra, the world's largest sundial and which was utilized by the royal family to study celestial events. The field trip is a new learning technique, which provides the students with information about ancient astronomy and about Rajasthan's scientific heritage. In evening, the group will dine in the evening at a local restaurant and enjoy a Rajasthani dinner, whereby the students can enjoy Rajasthani dishes like gatte ki sabzi and dal baati churma.

Day 2 will be spent on sightseeing a few of the most sought-after forts and palaces of Jaipur. Amber Fort, situated on the outskirts of the city of Jaipur, will be toured by the students during the breakfast interval. The huge fort is famous for its beautiful architecture and bird's-eye view of the surrounding hills. Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) palace complex will be toured by the students, upon which the historical heritage of the fort and the royalty status of the fort will be researched.

 

Thereafter, the team will move on to Jaigarh Fort, which is known for housing the world's largest wheeled cannon, Jaivana, and the best view of Jaipur city. There are also weapons, armor, and royal paraphernalia at the fort museum, giving the students a direct feel of the war history of the area.

 

Afternoon: Take a visit to Nahargarh Fort for a panoramic view of the city of Jaipur. The fort is renowned for its stunning architecture and multicolored frescoes, and the students would understand the strategic position of the fort in defending the city.

Day 3 will explore Jaipur's culture further. Day 3 starts with a visit to Hawa Mahal, also called the Palace of Winds. The famous monument, which is known for its honeycomb-like facade, was built so that the women members of the royal family can see the city life without themselves being seen. Students will analyze its architectural significance and role to the life of the royal family.

 

After this, the team will visit Albert Hall Museum, the oldest in Rajasthan with a vast collection of sculpture, painting, and fabric. The students will get to see the display related to the history, culture, and art of Rajasthan.

 

In the afternoon, the group will move towards Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, Jaipur's hippest bazaars. The busy bazaars are great places for students to haggle for local jewelry, apparel, and handicrafts. They will have an opportunity to talk to the locals as well and enjoy the efforts and craftsmanship involved in creating Rajasthani clothes, pottery, and jewelry.

 

Evening outing to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort providing an experience of rural Rajasthan. Students can enjoy camel riding, watch traditional dance performances, and listen to folk music, thus making it an interactive and participative experience of culture.

Day 4 would include the group leaving Jaipur for Ranthambore National Park, India's largest and most renowned wildlife sanctuary. The park boasts significant biodiversity and ancient fort ruins and offers students an opportunity to study wildlife conservation as well as Indian natural heritage.

 

Upon arrival, the team will take lunch at their resort and enjoy a good lunch. Students will be introduced to Ranthambore history and why it is a safe haven for the vulnerable Bengal tiger in the afternoon. Nature walk around the resort and rest in the evening for the students.

Day 5 will be an exciting day trip to Ranthambore National Park. Students will get the opportunity to view the morning safari early in the day to hunt for the wildlife in its natural habitat. Ranthambore is rumored to have a population of tigresses, and students will get to see these lovely creatures along with other creatures such as leopards, deers, monkeys, and birds.

 

The students will also get a chance to learn about the park's biodiversity, how the animals live alongside their natural habitats, and how the conservation is done through the safari. The students will have a tour guide who will give the students a reason why places like these should be conserved for generations to come.

 

The Jaipur & Ranthambore Education group tour will then proceed to the resort for breakfast and spend some time relaxing after the safari. Visit to Ranthambore Fort in the afternoon, an old fort inside the park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and it gives the best view of the place. The students will be informed about the history of the fort and how it has been utilized in an attempt to safeguard the region.

Day 6 will be on the team learning wildlife conservation and biodiversity of Ranthambore. The day will begin with breakfast followed by nature walk on park periphery where the students would get introduced to the dense vegetation and animal life of the region. The guide would reveal the ecological significance of the park as well as the conservation processes going on as a step towards preserving threatened species.The session will progress towards wildlife education, where the students will be informed about the issue of wildlife conservation in India, why the habitat of the wild should be conserved, and what role is being contributed towards the conservation of wildlife by the national parks. Videos, PowerPoint presentation, and live debate and discussion will be discussed during the session, where the students will be presented with treasure of facts regarding wildlife conservation.

 

Overnight stay at Ranthambore.

 


On the final day of the tour, after morning breakfast, the team will check out of the resort and proceed towards Jaipur or the point of destination. Depending on the time of leave, the students would be offered some time to explore around and relax before heading towards the airport or railway station to leave.
