Tour Itinerary

Your tour to Char Dham starts with your arrival at Dehradun — the gateway to the Himalayas. Your representative receives you at the railway station or airport and helps with a hassle-free transfer to the hotel. You have the entire day at your disposal to relax, acclimatize, and psych up for the soul-stirring experiences of the next two or three days. Depending upon your time schedule, you can take a walk along the tranquil roads of Dehradun or see nearby attractions like Robber's Cave.

You shall be taken early morning, after a sumptuous breakfast, to Sahastradhara Helipad to depart by your first flight. In a matter of minutes, you will be at Kharsali Helipad, close to Yamunotri. A short walk (or pony ride) from here will take you to the holy Yamunotri Temple, a temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.

The energy at Yamunotri is indescribable — the temple nestled between towering mountains, the gurgling of the river nearby, and the pure mountain air all combine to lift your spirits. After seeking blessings and spending some peaceful moments there, you’ll return to Kharsali for a well-deserved rest.

Overnight stay at Kharsali.

breakfast done, and you're flying once more in your helicopter — to Gangotri, this time. Landing at the stunning Harsil Valley, apple orchards and pine forests all around, is entering a painting. Drive past the quaint helipad and reach Gangotri Temple, the divine origin of the Ganges River.

The temple, with its serene white facade and backdrop of rugged peaks, inspires deep reverence. After offering prayers and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, you’ll return to Harsil for the night, with the melodies of the river echoing in your ears.

Overnight stay at Harsil.

After breakfast, it’s time for the next leg of the Yatra — flying to Kedarnath. As the helicopter hovers above the dramatic mountainscapes, you’ll feel an overwhelming sense of awe. Landing near Kedarnath, you’ll proceed towards one of India’s holiest Shiva temples.

Kedarnath Temple, built thousands of years ago and standing strong against the might of nature, is nothing short of a miracle. The spiritual vibrations here are so powerful that many visitors find themselves getting emotional. After your darshan and rituals, you’ll have some time to explore the surrounding beauty at your own pace.

Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

It's a day to take things easy. Take the day to walk around Kedarnath, visit nearby attractions such as the Bhairavnath Temple, or simply spend the day indulging in some meditation amidst the peaceful surroundings. You can even opt to attend aarti at the temple in the early morning hours — an experience you will never forget.

The day provides you the luxury of more intimate bonding with nature, with spirit, and with self.

Kedarnath overnight stay

Post-morning breakfast, you once again board your helicopter but this time to Badrinath — the last leg of the much-sacred Char Dham Yatra. On arrival in between the Nar and Narayan hill ranges, the picturesque Badrinath Temple on the horizon awaits your arrival.

It is India's most sacred religious site, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After making your offerings here, take a dip in the hot springs of the Tapt Kund, and stroll through Mana Village, the last Indian village before one approaches the border of Tibet. The air is thinner, fresher — and filled with ancient wisdom.

Night halt at Badrinath.

You now have the entire day to experience the mystical ambiance of Badrinath. Take a trip to Vasudhara Falls, where it is said that an individual has to possess a pure heart if they want to see the falls in all their beauty. Alternatively, you can hike up to Charan Paduka, which is said to carry the footprints of Lord Vishnu.

These mountains over here, the snowy peaks and green meadows, have their serene moments of introspection. It's where time lets you pause and stay in the moment.

Badri ki Dehar  and come back to Dehradun in the evening.

After breakfast, you must head out for Dehradun in your helicopter. While the helicopter departs and Himalayan ranges vanish in the horizon, one after another, it's difficult not to feel a pang of nostalgia. You'll be landing at Sahastradhara Helipad and will be taken to your hotel to spend some well-deserved time of relaxation.

Free evening time to relax or shop at the busy cafes and markets of Dehradun.

Night stop at Dehradun.

It's a relaxed day — great to unwind after the rigorous spiritual experience. You can decide to go sightseeing to places such as Mindrolling Monastery, Tapkeshwar Temple, or you can just relax in the calm atmosphere of your hotel. Dehradun's relaxed environment and cool air make it an ideal place to think about your Char Dham experience.

Overnight in Dehradun.

Following breakfast, you will be checked out from the hotel. We will help you get transferred to Dehradun railway station or airport for your return journey.

Even though this is the last day of your Yatra, the peace, blessings, and spiritual moments that you've accumulated will remain with you for the rest of your life. Char Dham by helicopter is not a journey — it's a ride that reaches your soul and remains in your heart forever.
